Jellyfish Munch by Kimbell Jellyfish Munch by Kimbell
I hired out an underwater cam for my first dives on the Great Barrier Reef. This was my favorite photo from the 2 days.

To see more of my underwater photos check out my Australia set on my flickr: here.

21/7/08: This is by far my most popular piece of work, and I just would like to say thank you to everyone who has commented or fav'd this

Wow.
As a marine biology enthusiast(and major) I know that most sea turtles are huge( except for the tiny Kemp's Ridley). This one looks like a green sea turtle, one of the largest hard-shelled sea turtles, around six feet long.
That jellyfish is around the same size, so it could put some serious hurtin' on a human. And it is currently being eaten.

Sea Turtles FTW!

OM NOM NOM

You know, for a while, scientists thought sea turtles were vegetarians (I think, correct me if I'm wrong). And then they got video of one eating a jellyfish.

Many bricks were shat.
